Y tras un capítulo puramente de transición como fue Slack Tide, llegamos a uno que sirve para empezar a encauzar el tramo final de la temporada.
Determinación. Esa es la palabra que define y guía éste capítulo, la determinación de los Morgan por alcanzar sus objetivos: el de Debra, cazar a Trinity: el de Dexter… el mismo pero con sangre de por medio.
El capítulo comienza con un Dexter atormentado por haber roto el código al acabar por error con la vida de un inocente. Lo que le lleva a plantearse que eso no hubiese pasado si se hubiese centrado en eliminar a su principal objetivo, Trinity. Así que decide que no habrá más esperas, ni observaciones… las horas del asesino están contadas.
Por su parte Deb, ha conseguido enforcar el caso de manera que LaGuerta le de luz verde con la investigación.
Sin embargo, no hay determinación si no hay dificultades que superar con ella. Y las dificultades son algo que pocas veces brillan por su ausencia, mientras que en Debra se manifiestan al ser apartada del caso por estar implicada emocionalmente, a Dex se le plantean en forma de repentino viaje que decide hacer Arthur.
Pero nuestro analista de sangre es un chico inteligente y con capacidad de adaptación, así que se las ingenia para que Trinity le deje acompañarle en su viaje, (y para conseguir una excusa para Rita y LaGuerta).
Sin embargo ese viaje desembocará en nuevos descubrimientos en el carácter y motivaciones de su futura presa.
Mientras tanto Deb y Masuoka hacen un importante descubrimiento que devuelve el control del caso a manos de la detective Morgan.
En definitiva, un capítulo para que conozcamos más profundamente al enemigo de la temporada, y es que no hay que olvidar que ya llevamos dos tercios de ésta cuarta temporada, y aún no sabíamos nada de Trinity
