Estreno de Ágora: la nueva película de Amenábar

Hoy Viernes dia 8, se estrena en España el nuevo film del cineasta Alejandro Amenábar, director de Tésis, Abre los ojos, Los Otros y Mar adentro entre otras, donde nos cuenta la historia de la filósofa, matemática y astrónoma Hipatia, interpretada por Rachel Weisz (ganadora del Oscar por El jardinero fiel).
Para ello nos trasladará a la Alejandría del siglo IV durante la invasión romana. Es la película española con mayor presupuesto, lo cual demuestra la ambición de Telecinco (participando en un 88% de la producción) apostando por el cine, aunque todo se ha de decir, apostando por caballo ganador, ya que esta superproducción de Amenábar arrastrará a la gente a los cines, además que esta rodada en inglés, con lo cual tambien cogerá un pellizco del mercado estadounidense. Es firme candidata al Oscar a la mejor película extranjera (Óscar que ya ganó el director con Mar adentro) y sin duda se consolida en la cartelera como una gran opción.
