Lei de esta pelicula en la revista Cinemania y la verdad es que la pintaban muy bien, pero no ha sido hasta el mes que me he decidido por una recomendacion de Gothbag, y ciertamente la pelicula me ha dejado un buen sabor de boca, ya que Wes Anderson ha conseguido adaptar el libro de Roahl Dahl de una manera unica con stop-motion, que rompe con todas las peliculas de aspecto digital a las que estamos acostumbrados ultimamente.
La pelicula trata del señor Fox (voz de George Clooney), un astuto zorro ladron que se ve obligado a abandonar su peligroso trabajo de robar gallinas por el embarazo de la señora Fox (con la voz de Meryl Streep). Al tiempo y tras trabajar de periodista para una publicacion local, decide cambiarse de su madriguera y mudarse a un arbol, es un animal ambicioso y no se conforma con vivir en la oscuridad. Pese a los peligros que puede tener vivir en la superficie, al final se van a vivir al arbol, donde descubre unas vistas que cambiaran el rumbo de la historia, ya que desde su balcon puede ver a los tres grandes magnates de la zona, y su instinto de zorro le invita a volver a su antigua vida, a dejarse llevar por lo que es pese a la negativa de su esposa.
A todo esto tenemos al pequeño Ash, su hijo, quien no parece haber heredado la genetica de su padre, lo que le hace ver como un rarito. La visita de su primo del otro lado del rio, rompera el mundo del pequeño zorro, quien parece ser un digno sucesor de su padre, lo que origina una envidia por parte de Ash. El portero del edificio del señor Fox, una comadreja, pese a ser un poco espeluznante y no parecer muy listo, se convierte en el mayor aliado de nuestro protagonista para dar un ultimo golpe.
Y asi consiguen roban a los tres magnates, lo que provoca que estos busquen venganza y quieran cazar al señor Fox. Y la busqueda de esta vendetta es lo que marca el resto de la historia, ya que no solo la familia Fox esta en peligro, sino todos los animales del bosque, que no dejaran de huir por culpa de su amigo el señor Fox. Unos detalles de la pelicula me han hecho mucha gracia, como cuando ponen el tiempo que transcurre, que lo pone en tiempo humano y en tiempo zorruno, o la elegancia y astucia del señor Fox en todo momento y la impresion de que sabe que hacer en cada momento.
Como ya he dicho anteriormente, la voz la pone George Clooney en el papel del señor Fox y Meryl Streep de su esposa, y es graciosa esa eleccion, porque le queda como un guante, ya que da una imagen de Ocean’s Eleven pero en version animal. Sin duda es una pelicula entretenida, no solo recomendada para niños sino para adultos con nostalgia de su infancia tambien. Es un alivio ver como se pueden seguir contando historias renunciando al 3d habitual del cine para niños.
