Basada en la novela homónima de Robert J. Sawyer, Flashforward nos plantea la siguiente cuestión. ¿Qué sucedería si toda la humanidad perdiese a la vez el conocimiento durante dos minutos y diecisiete segundos exactamente?
Seguramente causaría un antes y un después en la vida de todas la personas, no solo por lo extraño del suceso en sí, sino rambién por la masiva pérdida de vidas humanas que ello conllevaría en hospitales y accidentes de todo tipo, (tráfico, aviación…)
Si a esto le sumamos que todos los habitantes del planeta tuvieron una visión durante el tiempo que estuvieron inconscientes referénte a a su futuro en un plazo de seis meses… Tenemos una série que de entrada presenta un planteamiento suficientemente interesante como para abrirse un huequecito en Seriesdepelicula.com
El planteamiento inicial, es el ya mencionado: toda la humanidad pierde el conocimiento durante dos minutos y diecisiete segundos exactamente sin motivo aparente. Además se demuestra que todo el mundo tuvo una visión sobre su futuro en seis meses, ( un flashforward).
El agente del FBI Mark Benford, se hace cargo de la investigación sobre dicho suceso, al haber tenido él mismo un flashforward en el que se hallaba inmerso en dicha investigación.
Ahora que Perdidos, (Lost), se haya en su recta final, es lógico que sus fans busquen una serie que pueda llenar el vacío que pronto dejarán Jack, Sawyer, Locke y compañía. Y ciertamente, Flashforward parece destinada a ser esa más que digna sucesora, aunque más por estilo y por complejidad de la trama que por personajes carismáticos desde mi punto de vista.
Y ahí es donde termina la relación entre estas dos series: en el estilo y en la complejidad de su trama, ya que hay algunos rumores que aseguran que Flasforward está directamente relacionada con Lost, (como si se tratase de una precuela o una secuela de la mísma), pero esto no es así.
Tal vez, la inclusión en el reparto tanto de Sonya Walger, (Penny en Lost) como de Dominic Monaghan, (Charlie en Lost), haya disparado estas habladurías, pero lo cierto es que ambos interpretan a personajes muy diferentes en ésta nueva série.
Como he dicho, salvando las similitudes, nos encontramos con una série con un signo de identidad propio, un planteamiento atrayente y una forma de narrarlo que nos mantendrá pegados al asiento en cada episodio.
