El secretario de estado de Estados Unidos se convierte en zombie mientras viaja en el Air Force One. El propio presidente y la primera dama han sido mordidos, y en sus últimos momentos de humanidad el presidente debe decidir si “pulsar el botón”.
Tras éste inicio, la acción se centra en nuestros protagonistas que han conseguido cruzar el río en el todoterreno y disfrutan de una pequeña tregua al encontrarse las calles completamente desiertas.
Aprovechando la situación, las chicas aprovechan para cambiarse la ropa ya que aún iban con lo puesto desde que se vieron obligadas a abandonar la casa de la amiga de Marikawa. Precisamente Marikawa cogió ropa de su amiga para que todas tuvieran algo que ponerse en la medida de lo posible.
Mientras ellas se cambian, Hirano enseña a Takashi a utilizar una escopeta.
El grupo decide poner rumbo a casa de Takagi ya que es la que queda más cercana, y aunque no tienen muchas esperanzas de encontrar a nadie en buenas condiciones, no es motivo para abandonar el plan por el que se han guiado desde el principio.
El problema viene cuando después de avanzar un gran tramo sin encontrar ni un solo zombie, se topan con una multitud que abarca varias calles, lo que obliga a Marikawa a maniobrar de forma agresiva hasta que en un derrape, Rei cae al suelo desde el techo del todoterreno. El grupo queda entonces atrapado entre una barricada montada en medio de la calle, y toda una horda de zombies.
El grupo lucha hasta agotar las municiones hasta el punto que Takashi y Saeko deciden abrirse paso entre la multitud y hacer todo el ruido posible solo con la esperanza de alejar a los zombies de sus compañeros, entre los que se encuentra Rei presumiblemente herida. Sin embargo los zombies no les hacen demasiado caso, y cuando todo parece perdido, desde el otro lado de la barricada aparecen unos refuerzos inesperados.
Con gran parte del grupo a salvo, es el turno de Saeko y Takashi de encontrar la manera de llegar al lugar donde se hallan sus compañeros, lo cual recuerda a lo acontecido anteriormente con Takashi y Rei.
Mención especial para Hirano en éste episodio, ya que más allá de su faceta de personaje cómico, es de los que más conocimientos aporta para la supervivencia del grupo, al encargarse de instruir a sus compañeros en el uso de las diferentes armas de fuego en un momento de vida o muerte.
Nuevamente se detectan referencias del estilo de Matrix a la hora de representar las escenas de acción. En éste caso los disparos de Takashi “en tiempo bala” mientras Saeko parece evitarlas mientras lucha con su boken. Una escena estéticamente muy lograda aunque le sobraba la dosis de fan service que la ha acompañado.
