Entre los nominados a los Oscar hay 4 españoles, entre los cuales destaca Penelope Cruz por su papel en la película Nine que le ha servido para conseguir una nominación a la mejor actriz de reparto. La actriz se ha declarado muy contenta y sorprendida por estar entre las 5 nominadas. Por otra parte nos encontramos con los dos productores españoles: Gerardo Herrera de la película El secreto de sus ojos (nominada a 9 goyas) y José María Morales, productor de la película La teta asustada. Y en el ambito de la animación tambien tenemos a un representante, Javier Recio, cuyo cortometraje La dama y la muerte, le ha valido para estar entre los 5 candidatos, y además, un dato esperanzador, el cortometraje de las nubes de Pixar que se ha proyectado antes de la película de Up. Asi que desde Series de pelicula queremos mandar nuestras felicitaciones a los 4 nominados y desearles suerte en la gala.
