Por lo visto en Kazajstan no estan por la labor de que sus ciudadanos puedan ver la pelicula de Borat. La pelicula estrenada en 2006 protagonizada por el polemico actor Sacha Baron Cohen, narraba la historia de un supuesto periodista kazajo, que viajaba a Estados Unidos para aprender de ellos, y poder aplicar esos conocimientos en su pais. Cierto es que en muchos puntos se ridiculiza al pais, mostrandolos como un pais de paletos machistas y atrasados en el tiempo, pero con actos como prohibir el film, lo unico que queda en evidencia es su mente retrogada. El cine es una muestra mas de arte, de libre expresion y se ha de ver que es simplemente una coincidencia que cogieran Kazajstan, y que todo lo que vemos no es como sale en la pelicula. Si hubieran escogido otro pais vecino, los kazajos posiblemente se hubieran reido con el humor acido de Borat. Solo es imposible encontrar el film en puestos callejeros, ya que no esta a la venta legalmente, ni fue vista ni en cines ni en television. El ultimo acto fue el pasado sabado, cuando estaba programada la pelicula en la MTV Rusia, y a la hora prevista, cortaron la emision y en su lugar pusieron clips musicales. Otro de los alter-ego de Sacha Baron Cohen, Bruno se encuentra en la misma situacion pero en Malasia, donde la pelicula no podra ser vista debido a que “motiva la homosexualidad”. En Argentina, han prohibido que sea vista en los cines y pasara directamente al DVD o Bluray.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
Too aim is not enough you must hit!
